RIFTFARER

RIFTFARER · PERSISTENT WORLDS

Give stream events a place in your World.

Riftfarer is a hosted Twitch engagement platform. It combines persistent interactive Worlds and Traveler Characters with scenes you add directly to OBS as Browser Sources.

How is a World different from an alert?

An alert announces an event. A Riftfarer World also keeps state between streams: a hoard, recognizable Characters and community relationships. Optional event alerts can appear in the same scene, alongside the World’s response.

Supported Twitch activity includes follows, subscriptions, gifts, Bits, raids and connected Channel Point interactions. The dashboard provides simulations so you can understand the response before testing your own OBS output.

One stable URL for each scene

Add four Browser Sources for Gameplay, Starting Soon, BRB and Ending. Each scene keeps its URL while you adjust its layout, chat or alerts. Those links are private renderer credentials and must not be shared publicly.

No companion application or local command line is needed. Twitch connection, admitted creator access and the usual OBS Browser Source setup are required.

Keep the game readable

Set your canvas and protected gameplay area. Scene Layout shows movable items with labeled handles, while Alerts opens the placement controls directly. Choose which scenes show chat and event alerts, then balance World and alert audio against your microphone and game.

Start with what is implemented

Dragon’s Hoard is the closed-beta World. Coming Soon Worlds are not playable, and public discovery and billing have not launched. Setup previews help you configure a scene; only checking your own OBS output confirms the broadcast experience.
